Tire Carrier |
|
George, thanks for the help today, you guys have been great and
patient. I recommend the carrier to all that ask about it (and
many do ask). The service you've given me over the last few days
confirms my recommendation. I picked up a steel pipe to add some leverage for tightening the bolt. The guys at the hardware store felt that even with the hex bar, using the pipe against an allen wrench might be easier. There's play in the carrier but no cracking sounds so I think the bearing is fine but does need to be tightened. Thanks for sending me a new snubber, although in the end, I think it was just the loose bolt. If you don't hear from me assume all went well. Thanks again/ |

Rocker Guards |
|
I just wanted to forward you a thank you for making your products so strong. I know there intention is to protect the rocker panels from damage from rocks, but this last weekend your rocker guards protected something far more valuable to me. My sons and I got t-boned by a corvette sliding out of control last Saturday. As you can see by the pictures, he hit me on the driver side from front wheel to rear wheel and pushed the entire drive train over to the right side. But, your rocker guards took a heck of a hit and prevented the body tub from caving in onto my legs. IT ISN’T EVEN BENT!! The step is another story as it bent pretty good when he submarined under me. Highway Patrol estimated he was going around 50 mph when he hit me, and the force sent my Jeep 4 feet into the air. So kudos to you for building such strong products. Protection like that can never be “over built.” No one was hurt at all. By the way, I’ll need to order a new pair of steps as soon as my insurance check comes.

GREAT GOODIES, as you know, I have one of each of your products
on my TJ. And I cannot say enough good things about them. After
two years of FL salt, the only rust is where certain trees have
run into me (plus one pole barn). Everything fits, looks good,
works as intended. But to really appreciate them, you have to
pull up beside another JEEP, and compare what they have. As they
say, there is no comparison. Your pictures DO NOT DO YOUR
PRODUCTS JUSTICE. |

Front Bumper, Hitting a Deer |
| Scott, Texas | I purchased and installed one of your short front bumpers with one hoop and d-rings years ago for my Jeep YJ. Driving home, a deer bolted from the overgrown roadside ditch into my headlights. Swerving was too dangerous, so I braced for the worst. I hit a deer at approximately 75mph, catching it squarely in the center of the front bumper. To my amazement, the bumper was not bent. In fact, it showed no sign of impact and my Jeep's body and grille was not damaged. I can't say the same for the deer. Thanks for a great, sturdy product. |

Rear Bumper Delivery |
| Joel, Idaho | I ordered my rear bumper on Monday and had it installed by Friday. My thanks and gratitude to your excellent products and customer service. I haven’t found one better. You are the company which others are measured against! |

Nice Stuff |
|
| Brent, |
George, received my Monday and Tuesday orders, they look a lot
better up close than the web site shows. Nice looking stuff. Now if
I can only put it together! "Thanks" for your efforts getting it
here. It is pretty stuff! I looked at my calendar when I got home
after talking with you yesterday. I do not mean to be a headache customer, just under the
gun from the wife to get the vacation and Europe trip going, she has
waited "29 1/2 years" for. Thanks. |

Front Bumper |

I installed your front bumper on my 1992 YJ back in 2001 as part of my initial offroad upgrade. I was interested in it at first because it was different than anything else I saw in the showroom. It looked clean, not like those tubular "cattle gate" bumpers that I hate, and it allowed plenty of space to hook a front tire onto whatever I was trying to climb. You know the expression, "if it's heavy, then it must be expensive". It feels like quality when you hold it, the fit and finish were superior, and I loved the way it looked on the front of my Jeep. Long story short, it's still there six years later. I've busted rocks with it, plowed a couple of cars with it, run over trees, rappelled from it, strung hammocks from it, recovered other vehicles with it...and all it needs is the occasional shot of bumper coat to keep it looking new. In comparison, I hung a Warn rock bumper and tire carrier on the back, based on a recommendation from somebody I trusted. Big mistake! I should have held out for the Durango for the rear too. The Warn is a piece of s**t compared to yours, and it rattles like an old wagon. Too many aftermarket products just don't live up to the hype, but yours has surpassed any expectations. I'll be upgrading to your rear bumper and carrier as soon as it's in my budget.

A Quick Note |
|

A quick note - If anyone ever asks why they shoud buy your product,
feel free to give them my email address. I bought a Bestop tire
carrier because it was cheaper. I already have your bumper and
should have spent the extra $$ to get the tire carrier. The Bestop
may be cheaper, but it does not close with ease and makes the door
feel heavy. Mike Watch |

This bumper is simply the best looking bumper out in my opinion. Great customer service from Durango4x4 was another reason I purchased from them. They took the time and answered all my questions on there products there were not in a rush to get your card number and hang up. As said earlier YOUR PICS DO NOT DO YOUR PRODUCTS JUSTICE. Simply 10 times better in person. Lonnie
