Durango 4x4 tire carriers mount in precision machined fit bronze bushings that turn on Torrington roller bearings with a hold-open feature that is built into the hinge point. This complete swing-away bumper mount system is designed to keep extra weight above the bumper and not behind it.

The Durango 4x4 exclusive latch is guaranteed to be opened and closed with two fingers allowing a free hand for gear or groceries. It also holds the system securely closed even in the most rugged conditions.

The tire carrier is standard with the wheel stud mounting system for both 5-on-4.5 and 5-on-5.5 wheel stud patterns which is also a great anti-theft device allowing the use of wheel-lock lug nuts. There is no tire size limit, however some accessories will not work with tires over 36".
